What Our Clients Say About Us

Emma has been an invaluable source of support throughout my journey with both of my babies. Her advice has guided me through so many different stages, from postnatal recovery and breastfeeding to sleep, weaning and general baby development.

What sets Emma apart is her ability to combine expert, evidence based knowledge with practical, easy-to-follow advice. She explains the medical reasons behind her recommendations in a way that’s clear and reassuring, and she’s always able to point me towards trusted resources when I’ve wanted to learn more.

Most importantly, Emma has such a calm, kind and caring manner. During some very stressful moments, her reassurance and guidance gave me the confidence to know I was doing the right thing. I can’t recommend her highly enough and know she’ll be an incredible source of support for so many new parents.
Olivia Thompson

Mother of 2

I first met Beccy when she supported me with my third child who I had 10 months after my second.

When Beccy arrived at my door I was a young single mother, lost in post-partum living in my mum and dads bedroom.

When she arrived and did all her checks on the new baby she took time out of her day to sit and ask me how I was doing which you don’t see these days as it’s all about the baby. I explained to her how I had a stillbirth in 2020 with my first-born son Carter. How I had a bad relationship with my children’s dad and I had lost 3 family members during all this at just 22 years of age. She never left my side from that day she has been a constant form of support.

As well as the regular support visits for feeding and post-partum. She completed 1- and 2-year health assessments, which she eventually got on the path to have them both assessed for ASD and in her doing do and supporting me. They were both diagnosed before they turned 3 years old. She listened to everything I ever said and always had advice and support 24/7. She even went to the lengths of writing a character reference to my local council which resulted me in getting a 2 bedroom flat in a lovely area next to my children’s pre school which was a massive weight of my parent’s shoulders. It also gave me the independence I so longed for.

She was professional and offered me so much support she brought me out of post partum and I will forever thank her for her hard work and just being there for me and my little family in very hard times, due to this move into a different council I lost her as my health visitor and I haven’t ever met a health visitor as dedicated and supportive since she’s truly one of a kind and I will forever thank her for everything she has done for me and my family.

Who are Emma and Beccy and what qualifications do they have?

We’re experienced child health professionals with over 30 years of combined experience supporting babies, children and families. Our backgrounds include adult and child nursing, Paediatrics, working in child health services, and Health Visiting.

We have experience in home visiting, clinic work and parent group facilitation. We combine professional expertise with a warm, practical approach to help families feel supported and confident.

We have extensive experience working with families across a wide range of child health and parenting concerns. Our training in feeding includes the UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative, in child behaviour includes Solihull Approach to parenting. Sleep advice comes from the The Lullaby Trust safe sleep guidance, and evidence-based sleep support practices such as responsive sleep training. Medical knowledge comes from nursing experience and degrees. Please see our list of qualifications and certificates.

We are committed to providing advice that is current, practical and tailored to your family’s needs.

We know that every child and family is unique. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, we take the time to understand your individual circumstances and work with you to create realistic, achievable plans. This saves you time, money and frustration. Our support is compassionate, judgement-free and focused on what works for your family.

Breastfeeding can sometimes feel challenging, especially when you’re receiving different advice or things aren’t going as expected. We provide a comprehensive breastfeeding assessment to identify what’s happening and explore the factors that may be affecting feeding.

Using our training in the UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative (BFI), alongside our extensive clinical experience supporting families, we can help troubleshoot issues such as latch difficulties, milk supply concerns, feeding frequency, weight gain worries, breast discomfort, and feeding behaviour.

Together, we’ll develop a personalised plan that is practical, realistic and sustainable for your family. Our goal is to help you find solutions that feel comfortable, achievable and support you to meet your feeding goals with confidence.
